Our photowalks offer a great way to explore the sights of York, taking in some amazing locations and history along the way.
On these walks you will:
- Learn to get more creative with your images,
- Learn about composition and framing your subjects
- Learn how to get the most out of the available light
- Learn how to get the best angles of view
- Receive advice on lens choice
- Get help with camera settings, shutter speed, Aperture and ISO speed
- Receive lots of encouragement and expert advice
- Feel more confident when out and about with your camera
I am an experienced professional photographer and tutor and am used to working with all ages and groups of various sizes. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.
The walk takes approximately 2 hours.
They take place every Tuesday, Wednesday & Saturday at 5.00pm.
We meet at York Art Gallery
Our cost per adult is £ 50.00
Our cost Under 16’s £20.00
On my walks the numbers are restricted to small groups so that I can accommodate everyone’s needs and questions along the way. Family groups welcome.
Book early to secure your place.
As it’s a walk I would suggest comfy shoes and possibly a raincoat just in case, this is England !

Booking and Payment Terms and conditions
In case of adverse weather conditions and the walk has to be cancelled
you can either reschedule for another day or request a refund.
You can reschedule the date, request a cancellation or full refund up to 24 hours in advance of your booking. Less than 24 hours you will get the opportunity to reschedule once.
Booking Conditions
All photographic equipment is the responsibility of the owner.
Please make sure you have suitable clothing and comfy footwear.
Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
